Welcome to my personal WWW pages which I have been maintaining since way way back in 1994, first on my desktop, then on Tilburg University servers. Now, living in Germany and working for Jacobs University Bremen since November 2005, I finally have my own domain hosted by strato.de.

These are probably the only pages on the web still conforming to HTML 1.0. Yes I am a bit conservative in web design. But there is some interesting content, which is worth something, isn't it?

Main content on this site are articles and papers I've written and published since 1992, mostly stuff related to digital libraries, electronic publishing and libraries and e-learning. Have a look at the list if you're interested.

For those who want to learn about my professional and personal interests, a short curriculum is available.

There is also a hotlist, which is a bit, well okay, quite outdated, but I keep it mostly for personal use, and maybe for sentimental reasons, and because I don't want to drop the cute little red button hand crafted by Rebecca more than 10 years ago.

Comments and questions can be sent to h_dot_roes_at_jacobs-university_dot_de. Replace the obvious parts.

In case you'd like to search this site, the following might be of help (uses Google CSE):
